1. Please be sure to use the bathroom before class begins. Children can take their shoes and socks off and put them in the changing room. Please no snacks or gum during class. We recommend not eating a heavy meal thirty minutes before class.

2. We encourage children to be responsible for getting and setting up their own mat, and putting their things away when finished.

3. As a rule of thumb, we need your help by giving your child space to express themselves within the boundaries of the class and build a trusting relationship with their teacher.

4. The goal is to teach children that exercise is fun. We teach them to love their body, honor and take care of it.

5. There is no pressure placed on children to perform.

6. Through yoga students learn to develop their will power, to value feelings (theirs and others) , to expand their intellect and to appreciate the importance of balanced living.

7. We teach to each child's unique capacities. We are sensitive to each child's moods and needs.

8. As teachers we guide, we don't dictate.

9. The Peace Place is an area a child can go if they are not participating appropriately in class.

10. We are confident children will have a happy and memorable experience. Safety rules will be lovingly enforced.

Parent Participation: We generally do not require parents or guardians to be in attendance but you are more than welcome to stay.
